Finally after a few months i finished Carl Reid's excellent sculpting of this giant bust.
With painting the white I lost more hair, but i thought it was satisfying.
Hope you enjoy the looks of it as I enjoy the painting.
Any comment good or bad is welcome.

Nice job Marc. That lacing looks very good mate. White shirt could use a touch more contrast for me tho.

    Cheers

    Thanks Ron,
I had more contrast into the white shirt, but that looked very unnatural. So i brought it back.
    Anyway, thanks for the comment.

The braid does look superb Marc,as does the rest. I think it's hard striking a balance between natural, and overemphasized contrast. Great to see you back posting work.(y)

Man, that is beautiful. I personally think the larger the figure the less need for heavy contrast. So for me that shirt is gorgeous, but then I think the whole thing is marvelous. Thanks for sharing!

I'll be there without figures. There are not good enough to show them on the tables. Maybe on the stand of my club.

A lovely sculpted piece very well painted Marc. I like this very much. I am one of the few that likes painting white and I think you have made an excellent job of this. Well done Sir.
