    David, Man, this is one of the most well painted and realistic looking faces ever! I actually thought it was a snapshot of a re-enactor at first. Great Job! I second the motion on the Artist Oil Mixes you use for your face...

    Thanks Guys for your fantastic comments,they are always much appreciated.The oils used for the flesh are,Brown Madder,Flesh Ochre,Mars Orange,Naples Yellow,Warm Sepia,Paynes Grey,Raw Umber,Carmine and Titaneum White.The bust will be available from Imperial Gallery in the near future, this will be the box art.

    This bust has the face of a guy hardened in many battles, a true veteran. Excellent work on wrinkles around the eyes and the ruffles of the shirt.

    I like the understatment of the smallpox scars on his face. It's very hard to strike the correct balance to achieve the level of realism that you've attained. Very nice!
