It's been a slow project but she is now finished. A few people have asked about the skin and hair mixes, I paint with reaper master series acrylics and I used a 50/50 mix of tanned highlight and fair skin colours for the skin. The hair was a base of carrot top red and I used the auburn triads to do the shadows. Sorry I can't be more artistic and give you a better description of the colours I just use what comes out of the bottle and tweak it slightly.
Here she is all complete I hope you like her and any comments and critique is always welcome.

    Cheers,
    Andrew.

Thanks Roger, Tony, Theofilis, Rob, Carl, Pete and Gordy. Rob I couldn't resist the red hair maybe McAphrodite would be a more fitting title ;)

Hi Andrew, it was great watching your progress and the "subtle" changes that you made along the way. I love the colours of the finished piece better than what you started with. It has come out great and the shear look of the dress is spot on.

Andrew I've been following this and the end result is well worth all the effort you've put into her, excellent work on the dress.

    Cheers Ken

I think she looks more Celtic or Viking than Greek but it's still a superb paintjob.

Thanks Mitsutaka, Ken and Harry. Harry I did paint her as a Norse goddess. Mike (meehan34) sent me a link to this site with the original artwork on it http://www.howarddavidjohnson.com/nordicmyths.htm I just titled it Greek goddess cause that's what Historic Art called her.

    Cheers,
    Andrew.
