Finally got this guy done and added the shield to the base.
looking at the pics I might paint the grey block under his chest a dark colour.
I will also get a Leonidas engraving to go in the gap between the bust and the shield.

Nicely done! Besides the bust being top notch the shield on the base is a nice addition and sets the piece off well.

Nice to see you got there in the end mate , love the bust lots of testosterone going on , great work on the bronze helmet , hated the film though . So how did you eventually resolve the shield problem , magi scuplt or something similar .
