Just finished this guy at long last. Although still see a few bits needing touched up from the photos.

I enjoyed doing this guy...first time doing white and trying to make him look cold and very battle weary.

The base was made by our very own Planet Figure Chippy who plans to sell some at Trade Fairs I said I'd give him a heads up when i completed and posted this guy.
    Ta Chippy, great quality base..

Thanks for sharing Grant, great piece (y)

How did you achieve the worn and chipped metal effects on the canteen cup and helmet ?

    Hi Gordy,
The helmet was just sponged with dark grey and the cup was mr. metal aluminium again sponged on. It's a n old armour technique where you get the fine packing sponge, dip it in paint and get most of it off. You then dab it on the subject but turn it after every dab or it doesn't look realistic because if u don't it makes a regular pattern. Dead easy and quite effective.

    It's beautiful white, Grant.
The Camo pattern is also wonderful.
I congratulate completion of an excellent bust model.
