This miniature is the boxart for a next release from Art Girona that will be avalaible on the Torrent show at the end of April.
The sculpture is an impressive work by the master Raúl García Latorre, in 54mm, and it will be the first of a series of commercial pieces for Art Girona in which we'll be both collaborating. This one will be the next release of the Ancient Ages characters line.

my favorite part is the beautifully subtle shading on his fore arms. Wonderfully rendered muscle and flesh tones! I will definitely be trying to copy this technique

    Wow Fernando

What a master piece...really like the way use the color, especially the face with quite a bit of variance in tones and color mix...also the tunic textures you patined.

The trousers...black? What color you use for shadow....looks cold, mix with some blues?

    Really beautiful, well done

    Love it very much.
Nice subtle tones. Look all greyish but somehow with a lot of variation.

    Great work!
A facial expression is very wonderful.
    I think a dramatic figure.
    I congratulate completion.

The trousers are painted with oils in a mixture of black with a bit of a pinkish tone for highlights. After that, they received some washes and a subtle dot work with several brown tones and also a bit of prussian blue.

Thanks all for your words, guys!
