With a mixed painting of acrylics, oils , printers inks i completed this superb bust and a totally different subject than we usually paint . I hope this will be a motive for all of you to try something different !!!

The finished bust is here for all of you

    I hope you like it

Very nice work, I love the way you have done the jewellery, not overstated. I like this bust but would have liked to see the other arm sculpted. Just my opinion.

Nice to see that finally someone put some paint on this bust.
It's on my wishlist since the release.
I love the jewelry. But I'm not too fond of the (a little bit to) red lips.
    Personal taste I guess.

Thanks a lot for adding your post bro .

The issue of the right arm is simple. The way the bust was designed , and the picture that was inspired from had the other arm extended and resting on a piece of furniture. So it was not correct and artistic to leave an extented arm on the air. Then again with the one arm on the pose it is the dancing and charming pose is more intensified in my humble opinion , so i think that ULI made the correct decision in that way .

    Best regards

    Hello Engin ,
    I accept, but not agree.
You are right, both sides has the live.
Its simple when artist explain art.
Mata Hari, as spy, she knows both sides and decide like me, for one side.
The contrapoint like here is to give the bust the dance and the move and more level with one arm .
Thats the view and contrapoint in composition.--
    Best regards

Great stuff as always Costas I love it !! You've captured the period sort of pre Art Deco nicely, - for Ulrich :- yes it might do additionally with the other arm complete but that didn't specifically catch my eye, either way - Bravo !!

    Great subject!
I was also like Mata Hari, born in the town of Leeuwarden in Friesland (ten minutes driving from where I live).
