Just put the finishing touches on this excellent 120mm figure from SK miniatures. I painted him in oils, with a few touches in acrylics. The ammo pouch on the ground is an old spare part from a Verlinden grenadier. Of course I would be happy to entertain any questions you might have and would welcome any criticisms or observations.

This is also my first post using a light box for my pictures, which I made out of a cardboard box. I'm still not entirely satisfied with the picture quality, as the face seems a little washed out (I had some nice warm tones painted in on the cheeks and nose, which don't show up on the photos.)

Thanks Hikaru, Joseph, Sam, Jay, Carl, franco and Gordy. It's very kind of you all to leave some encouragement. I'm especially pleased that you liked the addition of the ammo pouch on the ground, as it was kind of an after thought, and if it weren't for the fact that I had Verlinden's Dutch Grenadier lying in a spare parts box, I probably wouldn't have thought of it at all.

Thanks Whitney and Mike, I'm pleased that you both enjoyed the piece enough to say so. Thanks also Alexandros, I agree that these larger figures are a little more difficult because of the size. That's probably why I usually only do 75mm figures, but I couldn't pass this one up.

Tell you what Gordy, if Mike keeps putting figures like this out, I'll keep buying them! That's a promise. Thanks Colin, I took my cue from the great job that Ernesto Reyes did on the box art version which was featured in a sbs here on the planet a few weeks ago.
