    Hello Friends!

I´m glad to show you my first figure for a new company: SCALE75. This is a gun fighter from far west. It´s based on the main character of a well known videogame. I´ve sculpted some other figures of this genere in past and I´ve enjoied to be back again in the wild west.
It´s been sculpted with epoxy clay, Milliput and it is 3 inches tall.

    I hope you like it.

    Hi Alfonso,
I love what you have done here, so much fine detail, such as the wind blown cape and the scar on his face. The painted piece is awesome.

The character is from "Call of Jaurez" (an XBox video game)

I'd say "fictional" down to semantics – these genre's are going to need redefining ;)

Fantasy.. warlocks, unicorns, elves , etc..

    Gordy,

Forgive me if i am wrong, but isn't fiction a fantasy?

Either way, it is still an outstanding sculpt! :)

It is ! But... I'm not talking about your use of the term 'fantasy' a few posts up — it has been used elsewhere, and I'm taking this opportunity to open the discussion and I value your open input. :)

I think though, it would behoove us miniaturists to set forth new definitions.

The term 'fantasy' has been bandied about as a pejorative to discredit a variant of something historical. Fictional or artistic license flare on a great looking piece outwardly dismissed as 'fantasy' should not at all diminish the quality, presence or beauty of a piece by historical correctness.

More apropos, I say, fantasy, sci-fi, etc. would be sub-genres of fiction, like a bookstore or library: fiction and non-fiction.
