Wow, I love the Sgt. Connor piece! Is that a Warhammer thing? Maybe a Terran from Starcraft? Wish it were like 75mm, but at any rate it is super fun!

I sure like the Sgt. Connor but the lip balm pouches for the serpentian heavy infantry were an octagon shape and his space gun should only have a single barrel instead of the two which was used only in the cobra faction. It is such a wonderful sculpt, too bad my favorite sculptor couldn't have done some RESEARCH. Don't get me started on the colors, UGH!

Really like the Roman a lot. Still no adds to the 7th Cavalry line. Not that I don't have a sufficiently large pile of unpainted things mind you.....:)

    hello Meehan
yes RESEARCH did you get that the Wittman cap has the wrong piping?it must be pink for tank units.and the brown SA shirt is questionable too an grey one might have been more plausible.did wear Wittman the golden woundbadge?i would check it before painting it.i think it might be wrong..
sorry that some people dare to give critics one flaws.i know one gets no roses for that.and people which think its not wrong to do only give you credit for comments with an PM.so is the world.
one can try to be anyones darling but must not strive to do it.because i get not my figures for free and shall invest money on them i think as customer you have the right to expect decent quality.and an criteria for this is an RESERACH.maybe iam wrong and its all an nice play around.maybe all get there stuff for free and so give no nickle that its decent quality?
or do they not care?well then iam different.sorry for that.because for me an figure is an product as an toaster i expect from the manufacturer that he invest some labour before he release it.
well only an point of view.
if you see it different you may do so.i see it that way that i demand an certain value for my money.in all aspect of live.
so i did get the pun.but it seems that people do not get the motives which bring others to dare to critic PRODUCTS here which are hampered by historic flaws.
i think it should be possible for an painter if he gets money for an boxart to do RESEARCH and paint the right piping on an cap.
but again i am wrong no here all manufaturers and painters and clients are buddies and play happily around-money is of course no criteria.
no we are all an happy community.and even if the viking helmet has the horns inside we applaude because otherwise we might get in the danger to be called an overcritic jerk?i am right here?
sorry i might get not so adequate in my post because english language is not my first language.
if some users think other which give some critics here are nosy blokes then may be it.i tried so often to explain my motives.so if you must go for the yerk.
    does not longer barther me.

While I have lots of issues with the Wittman Tiger dio, both on execution and historical accuracy, my biggest question is why does it look like the numbers are peeling off the turret storage box??? Thats just funky. I hope they realize those were painted (and not decals) on the real thing!

Markus, I understand where you are coming from and respect that.

Keep in mind, not everyone enjoys the pieces posted here in the same way.

For myself, I appreciate and enjoy:

#1 the artistry in the sculpting
    #2 the painting
    #3 the subject matter
    #4 the presentation
    #5 then the historical factors

    in that order.

For other people the order is different.

Some people get upset when one person expresses an order of preference different from their own. That's natural Markus, and that is their problem ;)
