    hello
i like the knight.worth to mention is the big slashing knife.in the MACIEWSKI BIBLE one sees warriors wielding such even seperate man in half with such.
when one thinks how delicate the drawings are i think such knifes must have been existant.strangely that not an single of this form and size has overcome the times.while the later ones used from the 1450 ties onward are very well documented.
i dig the knight because of the knife and the sculpt.its nothing to exorbitant, but iam not fond on kights wielding in one hand an sword and in the other axe or so on simply because in real fighting one concentrates on one weapon and makes the best of this.the other hand is better used in holding an shield to shelter the left side and torso.
    cheers

Really like the belly dancer scene, though I am not crazy about the box art and I would have liked to have seen more of the belly of the dancer, none the less this one is tempting.

    Wonderful figures Maurizio!
I especially like how you cought the women shapes and the fine face on the Belly dancer. Kavas has a nice surprised face, too. Both are very exceptional pieces! Bravo!!!

Ok, like the belly dancer and the soldier,, Ok for 54mm.

Is the base work included? I think the second story of the base is overpowering the figures.

nice drapery in both figures, nice animation in the dancer, good scope for colours, ornate finishes and transparent effects on the dancers clothes.

Still, good figures, both work well together

    Cheers

Another stunner Maurizio. Like the Kava &Bellydanser. A great challenge for a painter is let the skin shining trough her blouse.

    The knight is alos great.

Kavas and belly dancer kit is fantastic in all details and as I know the groundwork is also included in the kit. I believe the only problem is painting the belly dancer to the same red color of Kavas.
    best regards

Fabulous work on the two figures for RM SC 54 01 Maurizio, as usual (y) I like the base in concept but in execution it's a little too rough for my taste.

On the single figure, great to see a representation of that weapon as they're very rarely seen in miniature. I can only remember one other offhand.

As I know;the info sheet inside this kit tells sculptor is inspired by the oil paintings of Jean Leon Gerome on both figures. :)
