Glad to be registered here finally and have enjoyed viewing all of your amazing work from the outside for quite some time.

I am a currently recovering toy soldier collector who has recently rediscovered the joy of assembling and painting figures. I have been practicing on inexpensive 54 mm kits for a number of months and have just recently completed my first serious attempt and promise to share it with you all soon. I am finding that I now spend most of my non-working and non-parenting time painting.

I hope to seek some of your advice as questions arise as I am very much a novice and doing an awful lot of experimenting with materials and techniques.

Thanks for the welcome, Scott. We lived in St Paul years ago. Rented a dingy little apartment above the now defunct Ran-Ham bowling center over by Cretin Derham Hall HS at the time. Currently living down in Northfield. And yes, by all means I would like to hear more details on the group you've mentioned.
