now you can fantasize about early campaign and Africa Korps both..

you found a place to order your rubber?

    still looks good!!

    yess

I would like to do that, as you told me the chances are endless once you saved the head, today I was measuring full leght body pictures of rommrl and in 1/6 scale and the result is a 33 cm figure long, also I drew it and its quite big but I love this idea wearing the leather jacket and scarf, I think Im getting into trouble but fun! :D
Im ordering rubber and materials this week, thanks mate for the comments!

yes René, a 30cm figure is a lot of resin but I think Im going for that lol! yesterday I measured all full body pics from rommel I have, I think Rommel's height was 1,68 m, and he had a proportion of 7,5 heads/body. so here a sketch I made to visualize.

thanks Renè for the proportion drawing, 8 heads is a bit much for rommel's body, he was a quite short guy, so this is what a got so far now, I use normal clay to visualize the pose, a long way is yet to come...

I so much like your approach towards this hobby Antonio...

especially your way of thinking about volumes and then start refining them.

you will 'cut' this one in half to make it fit in your oven?
Is he 'wired' all over? it can give some trouble, cutting him loose.

    ( showLeoShowLeo :))

    all the best wishes,

    René

    Thanks Renè!
at this stage i dont know if i will cut it, but sounds as a good idea! it is wired inside, some aluminnium foil and Magic sculpt hardened also, its big and heavy but the structure resist very well, i should think about a solution for the hands but later...

    Hi René,(y)
shapes are getting better, left leg is a bit off, I should fix that, the binoculars are just there for general view, will be done in plasticard, and about the lighting I like to try diferents iluminations!

I started with wrinkles, more changes will occure I guess!:D
