After a long painting session yesterday evening i'm a little step closer to the finish.
Alot of work to do. Highlight the bronze. I think some highlight pointers with gold will do no harm.
The red belt is underlayer, as are the boots and some blue and red fringes.
The cape only need the highlights. And ofcours the innerside.
    Like to hear your opinion's.

    Nice

Looking well good. Are you going to run a wash of raw umber over the brass for shadows before the highlights with gold?

Very nice work Marc, to give more shadow on the gold I use generaly Citadel ink chestnuts or wash flesh and for silver I like to use tamiya smoke and citadel black ink.

No i had no intention to do that. Meanly because i have painted with raw umber between the plates.
Maybe another run could be done.

Marc it's just a suggestion, smoke give more shadow of steel, I put with it a brush very diluted with alcohol.

Very very nice. I wonder how you secured this figure on the base. It is heavy and stand only on one leg, other leg barely touching the stair.

It is pinned into the stair. At this moment it is done with bluetac.

Great progress and nice SBS, Marc.
I'd like to see the figure completed early.
The color of the mantle is wonderful.

    Cheers.

    Mitsutaka.
