Looks well Les, he does indeed appear cold. The slight alteration of the head adds a new dimension.

Good job Les, I like the addition of the mud. The face looks really cold.

Hello Les,excellent work(y).You have certainly captured the cold and fatigued look of a soldier in those conditions.Look forward to see him in the flesh at the September club meet.

Lovely job Les and nice touch to add the fingers to the gloves to make it unique, it is a very nice sculpt by Carl and full of atmophere which you have brought out well with your painting.

Many thanks Mark, Paul, Steve and Derek for your comments. Yes I certainly enjoyed painting the Fusilier and it has me "busting" to do more. But I have promised myself to finish a 1/35 Jagdpanther for an upcoming competition, so hope to get onto more bust's/figures as soon as posible. cheers Les

    Very nice

The facial tones are excellent and to repeat the others, he does look very cold.
Did ytou paint the uniform in oils? It seems there is a slight sheen to it, tbh I prefer matt finishes with uniforms but still very well painted. well done.

hi Grant, many thanks for yor comments, yes the figure is done in oils and to be honest was still a little wet when pics taken. But to be honest I think all finishes should have a very slight sheen to represent light reflection, but thats just my opinion. all the same I thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Les
