    Hi all,

Here's my latest project, Pandora Models' 54mm "Zouave 1854 Crimean War", just finished today.

The boxart of this kit is way too great to imitate, so I decided to paint it differently.
I tried to add dark and heavy atmosphere to it.

    I hope you like it.

This is a very imaginatively sculpted piece-you have made a great job of painting it-the dark atmosphere is probably closer to reality than we often choose to paint our figures.

I don't normally like "dark" painting as a stylistic approach, but I very much like your rendering of this figure! Beautifully done!

    All the best,

Carl, Tony, Keith, Daniel, Marc, Deneau, Thank you very much you all.

Yes, That's right. That's the effect I've been trying to add to my modelling. I try not to forget I'm making soldier or warrior at battlefield, not making model playing "Cosplay".

Oooooops! Bad typo! Sorry for that I'm not good at French. Is there any mistake in french grammar? Thanks for your advice!

Excellent painting, love the mood and feel of the piece, very well done!!! It is a very nice figure, and was no doubt based on this picture of the famous Crimean War photographer Roger Fenton himself.

    Hi! Kazufumi!

    You contributed a wonderful work.
    Amazing work!

I want you to hear my negative opinion.
Blending looks just a little irregular for red pants.
I wanted you to show me a little bigger picture as my request.
However it'll be fine if you can understand this as my jealousy.

Anyway I believe that you're the best painter current as of now in Japan by my opinion.
I congratulate completion of a wonderful masterpiece.
I'm also looking forward to next work very much.

Rob, Mike, Pedro, Anders, Gordy, Mitsutaka, David, CHRISTOS, Alessandro, Ken, Thanks a LOT, guys. I really appreciate your feedbacks!

Thanks a lot for the info, Anders. I regret the lack of my knowledge about Roger Fenton. I've searched only "Zouave" pictures on the net and I didn't know the picture. I should have know that.

Thanks a lot for your negative opinion! Negative opinions is always welcomed, too.:)
Yes, you are right. I rushed to the finish a little bit.

Some of you wanted me to post other pics so I will add some later.
