These are my latest sculpts, armed peasants and camp followers of the German Peasants' War of 1525 at rest. They are to be cast in white metal and will be available soon, under the Own Factory label.

    Scale is 1/72.

Hope you like them. Critique, positive or negative, is welcome.

Really nice. If more figures like these in apropiate material as Styrene, Resin or White Metal are available I will surely to more of them.

Keep me updated, as I would be very interested.

    Thanks guys.

As to availability of figures in 1/72 that are NOT in soft plastic there are some small producers who make their figures in either white metal or resin, such as

    - Valdemar/ Alex Miniatures (based in Denmark; mainly resin, Middle Ages only, but an amazing range); http://www.valdemarminiatures.com/

    - Schmähling/ Art Miniaturen (Germany; white metal, huge range of Napoleonics, but also some 30YW, SYW, Antiquity etc.); http://www.schmaeling.de

    - Frank Germershaus (Germany; white metal, Ancient Egypt, Hussite Wars/ 15th century); available through Kai Fuhrmann (http://www.fuhrmann-figuren-shop.de/epages/15505724.sf)

    - Ehmke Art (Germany; white metal, Napoleonics); also via Fuhrmann

    - Own Factory (a small but growing range of figures sculpted by private collectors, among them myself); also via Fuhrmann

There are many more producers of 1/72 metal or resin figurines, but these are the ones I know best. Since I am based in Germany, I can't tell you about availability in other countries, but you can order directly from the above mentioned vendors or producers.

As an example of what can be done with small scale figures have a look at this Battle of the Nations diorama, which is possibly the largest and best work done in 1/72 scale so far (mainly Art Miniaturen figures):

In future, I plan to sculpt some landsknechts to accompany those peasants. I'll keep you updated, thanks again, Andreas
