Hi guys.I've been a little absent lately but I can assure you that I've been very busy. This is the latest. It's Elite's 77th Foot. It's a joy to paint but I can say it up front. It's one of the hardest figures I've painted due to it's size. It's smaller than actual 54mm which made my life harder. It's no secret that I take lousy pics but at least these are presentable.I hope you like it

I have this figure, and I bought it a number of years ago. The drum was all
messed up in the casting; and I should have sent it back, but didn't. It is so
small, a young lad, yet you have done a beautiful job with this figure.

Everything about your presentation shouts, Colour Harmony. Even his face
tones are in harmony with the uniform and drum colors. And I really like the
fact that you've selected flowers that match those same colours and same
    for the ground cover.

    Very impressive presentation.

Fantastic painting Stephen. The tiny details on the drum are beautifully executed. The shading and highlighting on the white pants are really good.

Stunning work Stephen. But Elite are in my opinion always a little smaller then a Pegaso,JMD or Andrea.

Another stunning piece from you Stephen. I still looks great even though you say about the bad pictures so some better ones should be mind blowing. Please post if you take any more.

    Superb painting!
Painting in a detail is very close and perfect.
The facial contrast is also wonderful.
    I liked it very much.
    I congratulate completion.

First of all Stephen I'd like to say that you have done one of my favorite figures justice. I'd love to see the real thing to fully appreciate it. Very well done.(y)

I've found that it is not Elite's 54mm in general that are smaller but these early Latorre sculpts. I have four other Elite issues by Latorre, the ones in with the yellow and black labels, namely RG/54-01, RG/54-04, RG/54-07 and RG54-10. All are in a smaller scale, a bit like Bill Horan's work. Knowing Horan's influance on Latorre's early work that seems unsurprising.

Again Stephen beautifull work. More please.

This should have been the box art whenever this kit came out. I would have bought it driven by the box art alone.
