Here is one that will be the boxart for the General Issue brand of figures that will be released by Jose Rodriguez and his company Tiger Productions. Tiger Productions is mainly known for their diorama accessories in 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72 scale but Jose is now starting to cast 120MM and 1/35 scale figures. I found this an interesting subject and jumped at the chance to do it. He is in winter garb (most likely suitable to early war eastern front but can work for mid or even late western front as well) and is painted in Vallejo acrylics as always. pics are not greatest but each time I'm getting a little better.:D

Looks good, and there are very few medics of the germans portrayed. (somewhere in the ratio of 42985 combat troops painted up to one medic painted up ;))

and overall, looks pretty good. Doing the Red Cross would have been tricky, liked how you handled it.

    good job!

    cheers

    It's very wonderful, as usual.
    I liked it very much.
Painting of a uniform and accessories is amazing in particular.
The ground work is also wonderful.
    I congratulate completion.

Well done, Dan! Very good painting.

You can try to make a photos in daylight, colours will be more realistic.

    Best regards

    thanks Janus...

I did the red crosses freehand but the figure itself was a rough paintjob since this was the first figure Jose has casted. Since then though he has it pretty much perfected but I'm pretty satisfied the way it turned out. Thanks for posting.

    Hi Jon...

Jose was not the sculptor, as a matter of fact I don't know who sculpted this piece. Like I said the first casting was the one I painted and it was a bit crude and required a bit of work to make him look pretty but Jose has perfected his figure casting techniques and he is really a very nice figure to paint of a not too common subject. Thanks again!

    Hi David...

like I said, he was a pleasure to paint. What other 1/16 scale figures have you sculpted? I'd be interested in seeing them.

Yeah he certainly fills a void I would think in most collections. I have not seen many 120MM German medics out there or maybe any at all for that matter.

Jose has another Medic figure for future release. It is a US Combat Special Battalion Medic from D Day. It is also in 120mm. David
