    Hello Guys,
Finally after 6 months i finished this figure a 75mm from Pegaso. It is a great sculpt, but i decided to drill out the helmet and put them on the head of the figure. Let me hear what you think about that.
The shield was a long journey. With the stencils from Tommi Worton the outlining, shape etc was a piece of cake.
    But those damned lines :(:(
Well i hope you can give me some positive comments or maybe negative to learn from.

    Marc

    Hi Marc!

Good idea putting the helmet on the head to him, because the head has got a large too small.

Thus this flaw is covered, and which I see, you have managed with the narrow space between the left cheek flap and the cape very well.

I have altered this figure many years ago also sometimes thus and have painted:

Yours is much better! Particularly the shield.

Excellent work Marc. I do indeed like the helmet on rather than off. The reds are done very well. The shield is better than my own version........overall beautiful work with this figure.

Can you write a little more about those tommi worton stencils?? They may be a solution for a 75MM Pegaso Roman of a different pose that I have been holding off on.

    Very excellent work.
I think it builds into a wonderful work.
A red mantle is very beautiful.
The facial expression is also wonderful.
    I liked it very much.
    I congratulate completion.

Marc, I think you have done a fine job on a tough subject, especially the cape where you have got deep shadows without going muddy brown and top end highlights without it looking pink or orange. That`s a really fine job there !

    Hello Walt,
The stencils from Tommi are great if you want to paint heraldy, roman shields, greek shields or what ever. (he made them on your wishes if you want).
It's a vinylsheet with precut design's. You cut them out of the sheet, stick it on your figure (selfadhesive) and pull off where you need the paint (also precut). Fill in with the color and paint. There you have the outline of your design.
Here is a link and you can order in the onlineshop.

O, one sheet is for 54, 75 and 90 mm figures.

Very nive work Marc, I like the idea of using the helmet, looks better with it on, the reds also look pretty cool on the cloak, nice to see the shield design worked out for you.

    Cheers
