Hi Guys just made a start on painting the horse. Its going to be a Appaloosa, still lots to do. Main colours are blocked in and shaded, highlighted on left side but not on right side but will still go over again and rework till I am happy with it. Once that is all done I will putting the spots on and any other markings .Here are a couple of in progress shots.Tried a different background colour with these photos, thanks Brian for the idea.

    Cheers David

Awesome work David. I have been patiently waiting to see your horse. I notice you also could not resist placing the MM on the horse to see how he will look.

    David,
a joy to watch this figure slowly come to life.

Also good to see how you are doing it.

Like the subtle tonal differences between pants and top.

    Cheers

Nice work David! From an artistic standpoint, the rusty-reds of the horse compliment nicely with the greens of the trousers. Keep 'em comin'!

Dave the horse is starting to look really good, big change since I saw it last, and I hope to see it in the flesh tomorrow night. Looks great with the trapper on even if its just to try it out.
You were correct about changing the colour of the trousers to green, it works a treat. Splendid bit of work and I am enjoying seeing the progress.

    Davie,
Mine arrived yesterday with the Post. Unfortunally not every postman handle package's with care so my mountain man has some damage. The feathers of the hat are off, and some on the pants and shirt.
The left hand is off also. So i tried to glue the pieces but nothing works. I tryed 2 seconds glue, revell glue.
What glue did you use for glueing the piece together.

Thanks Mitsutaka for your kind words. Marc sorry to hear that your figure arrived in such poor condition, all parts of my figure were stuck with superglue gel which worked without any problem's.Dont know which brands you get in the Netherlands but the one I use is very cheap, three tubes for one Pound.

    Cheers David
