As a new member this is my 1st contribution,so here goes, I hoping to recreate "Le Poilu" as an Imperial Guard ( only because I have the parts and will save me starting from scratch).
Look forward to your comments and welcome constructive critism as the only way to improve.
Thanks Roger for confirming what "Poilu" meant:eek:
    Cheers Ken.

Not that I know of but it's already reminding me of descriptions of the retreat from Moscow.

Hey Roger you read my mind, I was thinking of naming it " NOT EVERYONE CAME OUT OF MOSCOW WITH NOTHING" but then would he be wearing full dress uniform ?.

    Two magic words... "Artistic licence".

I don't believe I just said that but sometimes it has it's place.

I would say it is acceptable in this case, you aren't trying to depict an wholly acccurate historical figure... go for it, it's too good an idea imo.

Well, if you sculpt it but decide not to paint it, I could always find room on the ever crowded WB;)

Daniel, Leo, Daniel Thanks for the comments - here's the latest pics.
You'll notice the head has changed, I've altered it to the original sculpt rather than a mold.

    Cheers Ken
