Guy, this is truly an amazing looking kit. I have the Harton miniatures mounted Trapper on the go but cant seem to get the two horses right. I will be following your progress with interest. Great painting your doing there, well done.

Thanks Jim for the kind words. The colors of Floquil I used are:

Hat = Rust - deep shaded with Weathered Black and highlighted with Rust + Reefer white

Shirt = Earth - deep shaded with weathered black and highlighted with Earth + Reefer white

I have been finishing the detail on the shirt and started shading the pants. I will take a few pics and update you on the progress so far.

Thanks Barrie for the kind words. I have 2 of the 90mm Mountain Men kits and have started converting one of the figures so I can use both in the same setting. So many projects / ideas.........so little time!

Thanks Steve for the feedback. The buckskins are turning out well.

Below is a pic of the lower legs base coated in Floquils.

Below I have blended and shaded the lower legs, not including the shoes, and have also highlighted the legs one time.

Below is how the whole figure is looking as of today. Still need to finish the beadwork on the shoulders as well as the shoes with the stirrups attached.
