I just thought of it!!! Fine Molds was the original manufacturer of these, assuming they're plastic of course! There have been several re-casters selling resin versions on eBay.

They appear to be Finemolds but I haven't seen those particular two before.

Yes, you are correct, I know Hasegawa Finemolds makes these kinds of figures. I have four of them. The figures I have (original plastic injection molded in the Finemolds box) are the Japanese Infantryman WWII, (The also make a modern Japanese Seargent), The German with the machine gun on shoulder (not sure if it's the same as the painted one above - but VERY similar), AND, I have a Geman Waffen SS in Camo smock, and an American GI with Thompson MG. (Except for when I bought them, I haven't seen the SS or GI before OR since.)

If you search ebay under "1/12" in "Toys and hobby", then narrow it down by selecting 'Model Kits', and then 'Military' you'll find these things. If you scroll down to ebay stores. You'll find the German MG, Both Japanese (WWII and Modern), AND a US Army Gulfwar modern infantry woman. You'll also find the 2 pictured above along with a Feldgendarme holding the round "sign" at road blocks. But these 3 are from "Dream Box in Suzhou". These are resin. They seem to be a different brand - unless they ARE recasts of other Hasegawa Finemolds injected figures in the series - don't know.

Finally, if you back up and select the "character Figure" Category, you'll find a WWII USSR Infantry woman. ...all very cool stuff! - off the beaten track and rather fun!! Although the figures are caricatures, the weapons and equipment are not. ...soooo if you are looking for 1/12 weapons and equipment... they are worth it for that alone.

Go check them out on ebay - Happy hunting,
    Paul
P.S. the seller "RaidOverMoscow" is where I bought my originals in the box.

I had several of them, the German with MG on shoulder, the US GI, the Russian Woman and I still have the US Gulf War woman. I haven't seen the two above but had seen the two Japanese and the other German you mentioned

Hi all, thanks very much to everyone who has made comments on these figures, much appreciated.
These two figures are made of resin, but l also have the WW2 Japanese infantryman carrying a crap load of gear, intend on painting him up very soon.
