No paint on them yet, but I can't wait to start on these. These were sculpted by Tom Meier at Thunderbolt Mountain. His cariacatures of Napoleon and some other soldiers of that era are just hilarious (a great price too!). And his 1/48 Rogers Ranger was free with the purchase since I bought an elf to get over $25. :D

    That must be real fun.
    I like Napoleon.
Wendy, you must check the fit of Nappi on top of the saddle.....

Hi Marc. Little Napoleon was just dry fitted in the pic. I paint him separately then glued him on Marengo. :)

Actually krom, I finished Napoleon earlier this year, but forgot to post a pic - so thanks for reminding me. After finishing him (and I've started on the Scot), I bought the whole rest of the set of them. In fact, the Brit is our club figure this year. They're really fun to paint. :D

    Cheers gents!

    Here's a pic of him...

The sculpting is superb (obviously - it's Tom Meier) and the castings are good. There is some seam clean up and a bubble or two (on the horse's belly), but nothing major.

The Scot is really cool. It may be a while before I finish him, but I'll post him when I do. :)

Actually he won't be at Chicago as he's part of someone's collection now. I did buy another one (which given how much I dislike repainting figs, speaks volumes about the figure), so at some point he will get to Chicago. :)
