Thanks Tony, Jay and Balasz. I'm in high feather, as pleased as Punch 'manufacturing' those dioboxes. Art was and is still my thing and this gives me a greater satisfaction than just lonely figurines.

    All the best

    The symbols:

Ship = stands for the transportation of the stolen treassures and gold to the Old World and also for the conquest of The Mayan people. The dark clouds = the treath of wath is comming.

Ring of fire = the 'civilisation' by fire and blood of the New World.

The gold = all what is vanished into the ocean, together with the culture of these people.

The right monument = the sandstone churches they build upon the ruins.

    Hi Roger

The content and choice of colours is very sympathetic to the culture behind this piece. Also having the “balls ” to have a go at something like this is admiral. But could I make a couple of points. Maybe a little more observation on how clothing covers the body and how it folds is needed, some of the creases don’t seem to flow into correct places around the figures joints (elbows, shoulders and knees) and maybe a some of the proportions on the lower legs of the Top figure, they seem a little short in proportion to the rest of the figure.

Can I just ask what medium you are using to create you figures as it may help changing to something more suitable to the figures that you want to create, maybe Magicsculp or something similar would be more suitable.

please keep on doing what your doing and the results will get better and better......

    Hello Dave,

your remarks are correct. I'm only using for a few weeks 'Magic sculpt' and this product is far much better than the 'Milliput' I used for years. The leg of the Mayan seems correct to me, I think it is the optical aberration of the picture and also the bracelet aroud his legs that do look like it's shorter.

Thanks for your comments my friend.

Thank you Quang. You know I was born in Mechelen. Does that café 'De Gouden Vis' still exist?
