    aaaww chin chin Blind Pew!
painting is a journey not a destination! or.... when there is nothing to learn, there is no reason to continue. should be a good read in any case.

I've been pretty disapointed in some of the releases I've seen lately and I'm hoping this one will break the string.

He's an awesome painter. The drawback to any of the painting books is that they show "what" was done not "how" it was done. I admire his painting and will probably get the book anyways.~Gary

    hi Gary,
i would agree that a fair amount of these books do as you say; wether due to space or painters secrets, but to be fair to Danils book it does have some very good sbs on things like skin, cloth, tartans and such like.
there are omissions but an experienced eye can deduce the methods. You wont be very diappointed to have it with your other books and makes god reading betwenn drying times!

all the best Gary --- tim
