This is my version of the figure by R. Latorre.
Another successtory like his roman general ( maximus )
My first fantasy figure in this scale .
Recently I discovered the metal acrylics from the vallejo range special developed for fantasy figures .
And what a result . I never use anything else . They can be used mixed with other colors wich give a more dark weathered result or pure straight from the bottle . Than they give the same result as my printer ikts.

I also decided to restrict the number of colors and use varied tones of the same pigment .

Little detailing is still to do : f.e. groundwork and the strips wich hold the flags .
This figure was somekind of testlab .

Hope you like the result .

Great lookin' piece of work, Marc.

Those Game Color metallic paints for Fantasy figures are superb, its strange that they're better than the Model Color varieties when used on their own. I do believe that all acrylic metallic paint needs to be mixed with flat colour to get the most out of 'em. They all work much better this way, even the Model Color metallics!

    Looks very good, Marc!
Your metall-painting technique is very convincing, too.
What I like to know: Where did you get the buffalo-skull from?

The animal skull is bought as a single item . On a fair a retailer sold them by piece casted in metal . The man was specialised in diorama assesoires.
It's not a standard commercial item . But I have seen it before used in Wild West settings .

That's a great version of Sumothay Marc. Maybe I have to give those metallics a try... I'm really impressed from your result.
