Hello Christos and Roger, thanks for your comments.
The sculpture was made myself too for TRIFON miniatures.

    Regards,

    Alex.

Nicely done! The addition of the braids in the beard to give him the "Blackbeard" touch are nicely done. I really like the sense of motion they add!

Very natural and lifelike sculpt of this great personality. Superb painting too, Alex. The patterns on the bandana and sash set the figure off nicely.

Thanks a lot for your comments friends,
Yes, maybe the bust looks better without hat, anyway that´s removable and I can see the bust with or without hat time to time.

    Thanks again,

    Alex.

    Alex,
It is a great bust you sculpted and painted. Just Super.
    Cheers
    John
P.S. I like it with the hat. Looks more sinister

Hello John, I never had saw an image of This pirate without hat (painting or model) that´s why decided build it removable , but, I´m agree, the hat is a part of personality in this character.

    Regards,

    Alex.

    Alex,

thought that you never gonna show it to us. I really like the one with the hat, and short beard.

    Hello Alex,
    Congratulations on an excellent bust!
I particularly like the way the braids give the impression of the wind blowing. Great effect.
I'm trying to figure how they are cast. Are the individual pieces? It almost looks like they could be one piece that attaches to the end of the beard.
As for me, I like him better with the hat :)
    Nice job.
    Craig
