An often done subject but this method of presentation is pretty unique and inspired - brilliant concept and I am sure it will be popular.

Now that's cool! Hopefully the fuselage has panel line and rivet detail.

Yes, the interior detailing would be important, would make for a great centrepiece.

Great concept and something a bit different from the run of the mill poses.

On the one hand very impressive, on the other I find it a bit hard to display....think it will look odd with his back facing the front of the base. Perhaps a nicer way is the plane’s interior in front. That would show the face of the figure. Either way, a lot of paintwork will be hidden from view.

Nonetheless, an impressive sculpt in an original pose!

    WIP Preview.
Coming in the next few months is this stunning piece of an 82nd Airborne para 3d sculpted by the very talented Ariel Genaro. The kit will be marketed by Ross Mitchell at MMM and sold in scales of 75mm and 120mm initially. There will also be an option of kit parts to change the figure to 101st Airborne.

Prices and availability will be announced by Ross once production begins in the coming months.
The preview render phots are a WIP and some adjustments and details still to be added to the 3d model.

    Cheers

Nice render and I'm confident that it'll look great in resin. The main problem (if problem is the right word) that I see with this guy is deciding the best angle to base him up at.

I always like to see something a little different, and this is well composed.
Not an era that I personally paint, but I think this will prove very popular with those that do.

    Hi Tommi,

Firstly, nice work, I expect I'll grab one in 1/16 scale. How detailed will the inside of the fuselage be, please?

    Thanks,

Not sure at this point as it was only added a few days back so will wait and see on the latest developments and will publish the final result.

No wonder he has a grimace. Paras much prefer leaving fully functional aircraft. ;) I guess this one is really meant to be displayed side on or three quarters on.
His helmet net has threads in it. How much of that sort of detail really gets captured in final production castings in 1/16th scale?

All details including helmet net threads will be well defined in 120mm and 75mm for sure at 20 micron print layers.

Boots are too fat they are not cylinders. Please, please, please, fix them. I will be ordering a couple of these to give out as Christmas presents in 120mm. I'm too lazy to resculpt them.

Here is my reasoning for the request.
