    Thanks GUYS! Really appreciated!

@WarenSMITH: about the seams, just followed the different models/pics I used to built this figure. Maybe they ironed it first before going into combat... ;-)

@Bundook; Absolutely right!! (But in colloquial it would be 'just' Gefreiter (after experience... ;-))

    Hi Erik,
    nice work.
He is obviously in action with the Infantry (white lining around the shoulder flaps and inside the collar boards - in difference to Panzergrenadiers that had applegreen lines as "Waffenfarbe") at the Eastern front - has picked up an MP 40 with one magazin - therefore slung his K 98 to his back and carries some spare rounds for the machine gun (so maybe he is a ammo bearer of an MG-Team) and in addition is packed with grenades. A kind of "one-man-army".
His rank "Obergefreiter" (Private First Class) was a promotion from the "Gefreiter" (Private) so he would not have liked to be addressed as Gefreiter. The usual abreviation used was "OG" (spoken "OhGeH").
    Cheers, Martin

Thanks again guys! Your comment are really appreciated!!!

@Martin64: See attached pic concerning the white lining with Großdeutschland!
And as said, going to my experience in the army, among the comrades I was still called Gefreiter. For official (and superiors) it was of course Ober Gefreiter. (A bit depending on the individual preferences/self loving carracter ;-))

    Cheers

LOL -wasn´t aware that you used ranks at all among comrades - I was with the Paras and we just used our first names within our group... - anyway no biggie.
