This is going slowly and still looking primitive, but i’m feeling like its going to get there if I take my time.

Working out the size and shape of the base. The foam and pen are just stand ins for greenery and the column of smoke I have yet to fabricate. I’m dreading getting into properly sculpting the fabric folds. My hats are off to all the true sculptors out there!

Have you podered about using cotton? It's what is usually used to mimick smoke, so it might work with the steam.

She looks fantastic. Really nice work on her dress and the hair. I really like how you made the braids.

Almost ready for paint. I need to modify a few of the crows, and figure out the flowers for her belt and the base. The dress needs a little refinement.
