I have purchased others from Dolman and no issues at all on casting so anticiping the same with this

Customer Service is always good as well

Out of interest regarding the Kaiser's love of uniforms

Here's one that would certainly work so well both as a bust or full figure

Another nice picture this time with full medals

Dare I ask for anything you have on the ribbon bar ?

Saw this full set on GMIC site .....sold for €63,000 plus fees !

Apparently he had several versions for various uniforms

He did like his uniforms !

I agree with you about the presentation in 3d and not a casted version, even in the Dolman miniatures site. But, as Nap said, others versions released by Eduardo Sanchez Barbero, look even better than the digital version. Look at this too:

  14. You are right, that figure is from many years ago, perhaps 9 years ago, the sculpture and the casting are not as good as they are now, over time we are improving

If you are thinking of giving Mr. Kaiser an additional clasp, the following photo shows his personal original - and on the left the names of the individual orders...:

The thing was called "große Ordensspange" or "große Ordensschnalle".

Alternativly, you can omit the crosses and medals and only sculpt the ribbons (or only a part of them). This version was called "Interimsspange".

It should only be noted that in the case of the "Interimsspange", the ribbons were wound slightly differently around the underlying metal rail, which makes painting much easier.

Here is a "große Ordensspange" and an "Interimsspange" in comparison...:

A third possibility is the so-called "Bandspange". These are reduced versions of the respective ribbons...:

Wilhelm the Loudspeaker wore all three variants in different combinations, as he liked it.

    Große Ordensspange...

    Interimsspange...

    Bandschnalle...

So there are several variants to "individualize" the emperor.

Cleverly avoiding the issue of Willy's withered left arm, I see. Martin, you could have saved yourself all that correction work :D
Or as we might say here, that work builds character ;)

    Prost!
