    Hi all.

Finally had the courage to bring the two main parts of this fabulous recent release.

Had to make it one figure as I have previously painted the two main parts separately...But had to find the right angles for shading and highlighting for the completion .

I picked this up recently from Stuart at Stormtroopers at the White Rose show at Easingwold near York. Fabulous day out.

Thanks for looking and will post the finished bust soon.

Looking good Mike. I like the bedroll, a nice personal touch with the uniform.

Hi there and thanks for looking the flag comes as one piece including the right arm....after cleaning up and primed the flag has lines engraved to separate the sections. Taking one section at a time I painted the blue part with an undercoat of blue acrylic...the others red and white.... sections.
Don't worry about going over the lettering , thay can be painted at the end. When dry I applied permanent blue oil paint...leaving it for about 20 min. Then remove some of the blue oil gently ...leaving the blue undercoat to show. Then you can shade and hilight as required. Do the same with the other colours...best of luck (y) Mike
