Incredible Work well done so nice to see the Soviets getting some recognition and in 120mm as well.

Great looking work! I can see a couple of these figures being used in a diorama away from the tank.

    Great figures Jeff, like always.

Well, don´t get stressed to much about the topic in that crasy times today. In my opinion its still something that was missed somehow in 120mm scale and this is a hobby and no political forum, so I think almost everybody here will see this from a good distance throughout the "modelling googles" not the political ones.

Do you might plan a second set with infantry on the ground?

    Cheers Michael

Very well done - amazing speed and quality/quantity of your figure news - and btw. these Soviet tank riders could be from Ukraine and/or Russia at the time of WWII - the effects on the "liberated" German population back then were quite similar to today`s situation at some places in Ukraine - but that is not the problem of our hobby.

I'm kicking myself for not picking up the trumpy kit when it was cheap that time, years ago. Now the stash is too high. Or is it??

There is a difference between then and now:

1944 the Soldiers of the Red Army came as liberators (here at Odessa, April 14, 1944)...:

The difference is in the eyes of the beholder - the Ukrainians knew what their old and new masters expected back then - just years before they had welcomed their German liberators from Stanin`s terror

Many paid for that in the Gulags of their liberators of the Red Army.

    - Nevertheless not important for the topic of this thread - the figures enhance a tank at this scale remarkably - a good reason to look for this Trumpeter kit of the T 34 variants.

    Cheers, Martin

I have had the 1/16th scale tank models for years just staring back at me. Now they are telling me there is a good reason to build them now

    Hi geoff

these figures are great. Is it possible to make the figure components with locating pins for ease of assembly?

    thanks

I know this is contrary to Martin Antanenko (hope I got it right, it's odd to change to wife's name) but I'll take the Allied version of Liberation vs. The "Heroic Soviet Liberators" anyway. This is a great set.
