All medals completed after redetailing the first from left and 4th from right ( 50p piece shape )

Basecoated the neck protector , painted ribbon at beck .....working way down and around neck ...see ref pics below

The sash has fine threads running across so tried to simulate that texture ...quite happy .....ish !

Might put a wash of satin varnish over

Little bit of tidying up

Next the stars and then the actual uniform colour

I do use cling film ...oh you mean on the bust! .....YES YES ...or paper towel around

Your right ref the purple tinge ...it's only the easiest or rather closest to me at the time ....it will have a new dark blue basecoat prior to painting .......that's next after the half star

Aha!! You recognised the deliberate .......great spot .......don't know why I painted it as OBE when it should be the Thistle Star

Not had much chance to paint but verbal update on him , uniform is now finished , next will be the buttons father which I will post iffyvision pic !

Going to detail the buttons up as much as poss visually , looking at them they have a edging with a cypher under a crown

Also added some button hole stitching which you can see in picture
