    Hi Pete

Good update on this fellow , like the overall look of him ...campaigning to a tee

Nice work on the bow and the way the shield sits to the ground really work

Nice painting on both Figure and shield, nice weathered look

Always good to see your artwork

Why not enter something in the class of your choice in FOTM , maybe also into the Vignette & Diorama comp , please take the time to consider and also do vote as well

    Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next thread

    Happy benchtime

Nice to see you paint with Humbrol enamels. I used to do it too, but the new Humbrol is so different compared with the Humbrol 10 years ago. I can’t work with it anymore. Are you using the new Humbrols? Not having problems with covering?

Hi Dutch. I do use the new stuff. I find it a bit strange, some ( like scarlet 60) are very viscous and smelly...not great for someone who loves to paint redcoats! I often find the paints give up the ghost after half a tin has been used, but I have been using them since I was 8 years old and just use what I know. I like the finish and coverage seems OK although some can be thinned more than others.
