    Hi Guys,

Another new sculpt in progress, 1/9 scale Bugle Major, Punjab Frontier Force, 1880, based on the Osprey illustration. All work in milliput over a resin dolly, with still much detail work to do, but so far, so good(y) 277812190_1762944024036644_2478673528466545798_n.jpg 278085390_1762943917369988_8237912461921572367_n.jpg 277802058_1762944034036643_4024056045240805377_n.jpg PIFF.jpg

    Hi Steve

Looking very sculpting , it has a classic look in the way it's shaped and style

Personally I like the idea of the sculpt extending to just below the bugle and with the full right arm ....buts that me !

Thanks for the updates , good to see a sculpt progress

    Looking forward to seeing more

    Happy sculpting

Call me a bluff old traditionalist, Nap, but this is my take on a bust, as defined in the dictionary.... "a piece of sculpture representing the head, shoulders, and upper chest of a human body...." - anything else isn't a bust!! (y)

Completed all the sculpting on my latest bust depicting a Bugle Major, Punjab Frontier Force, 1880. It now needs a coat of primer and and final tidy up
