Evening all, more progress amongst life other intrusions (how dare they)

So I have spent Two evenings painting on the belts and Straps - fiddly work especially on the backs of some of them where there was no moulding so careful free hand painting required.

Currently working on my 5th centre KGL captain - a few details on him and his Red jacket painted, officer ranks had a brighter shade than rank and file.

    Hi W

Nice figures your working on , that always helps on such a big project

Interesting you paint the white first then the main uniform colour

    All looking good

    Keep painting

Thank you kindly, yep its easier to paint from the centre out by doing the straps first, then I do the block colours but leave a slight shade barrier using the Black from the primer - kind of makes it look more 3d.

Evening all, starting to get more colour on my 5th KGL (Red is so hard to go over the top of Black primer - needs several coats).

Looking good there W have you painted the officer with brighter colours = better quality cloth than his men ?

    Thanks for sharing

Yes indeed - as you said the officers uniform was a better fabric.

Is the fella in the middle really that much shorter than the others, or is that an optical illusion? If he is shorter, did you modify him, or is he out of the box? If he is shorter, that's a great detail, to add that kind of variation.

    Prost!

He has his legs bent so that might be making him look shorter, they are pre cast moulds - so alas no I have not a;tered his stance.
