    The Bust arrived from Italy within 24hrs of dispatch, not bad really. The bust arrives in a stout cardboard box with a picture of the resin item on the front, a breakdown of parts on the rear of the box and on the side a label with the release number, in my case number 24/100 , and a few more details about the item and sculpter;

    Inside the box, the main torso and ziplock bag of the other items are cushioned in black tissue paper

    A couple of stickers

    And a nice pamphlet inticing you to build and paint the model

    The kit consist of 7 pieces of high quality and superbly cast pieces of grey resin;

    Main Torso
    This has the traditional cable knit sweater cast with great details, which have been expertly sculpted and cast. Lots of high details to paint. Over this jumper is the oilskin (?) coat again cast with some superb creases and great undercuts, poking out the end are the sweater cuffs, with blank ends for the addition of the integrally cast hands holding onto the ends of the rope.
    Just two casting points to remove from the jacket and right arm.

    Head
    Again great cast details of a charchterful face, with a nicely details beard. All facial fetures are very nice, well defined eyes, nose and wrinkles. SHould be ajoy to paint and bring to life. On top of his head is his large hat, and as usual with this release, great details have been sculpted and cast.
    A single casting block to remove from the base of the head, will need a bit of time taken to ensure the rear of the hat is not broken when removing the pour stub.

    Hands
    Great details on both hands, veins showing as well as nice finger nails, Two attachment points to remove.

    The Fish
    I am assuming that this is a swordfish, after looking up images in the old internet. The rope is even visible within the fish's mouth and it will be fun to paint and get the colours onto the whole (Bit) of this monster from the deep.

    Rope and pipe

    The last three bits are the rope and its end piece along with his pipe, which you can either use or not, choice is yours.
