    Hello all,

I am very sad to report that Guy Herrick passed this morning after prolonged illness.

Guy was a regular contributor here for years and did the new kit reviews including pics and opinions of the various kits. He contributed with SBS's and was an avid miniaturist. His home was a veritable museum of miniatures. Truly a walk down the history of our hobby.

He and I had many conversations and had great fun ferreting out old kits and determining who the manufacturers were on some of the most obscure kits. We would meet all day long on the day after the Tulsa show when he could no longer attend. He was tremendously knowledgeable in the hobby.

    Sadly,

    Kevin D.

I was informed that Guy Herrick passed away this Wednesday morning. He had been ailing for a couple of years. A great painter of miniatures. He liked Indians, Mountain Men, and the Old west figures. RIP Guy. :(
