I would draw it out to scale on a small piece of plastic card, sculpt it flat, make a press mould, then pop one out in Milliput. Once cured, glue it in place, then add a bit of back detail on the visible part...(y) once youve got the mould, it can then be re used.......

    Hi everyone

Couple of iffyvision pics ...been working on pistol , thought the hand was from a 1/12th but it wasn't ..it was from a 1/9th midshipman release a long time ago from Mitches ....strange how Steve Reedees excellent hammer wS bigger ...not doubting his skill for 1/9th but anyway after much cursing I resculpted a hopefully more looking better hammer onto pistol, you can see it in pics

Sword and sabretache straps now fully set into position ....away from torso , adding "snake " buckle at front on waistbelt and strap ends

Here's some refs I am using as well

Going to need to get a deeper base from Pete Watson as with sword I place it sits lower than base at present

Off to push putty ( going to finish this putty work before finishing BSM Williams

As always all comments etc welcome

    Happy benchtime

He's going to look great when painted Kev, I'm interested to see how you tackle the leopard skin, or was it Jaguar skin?

    Hi everyone

Bit of a verbal update ...been busy basecoating ...quite awkward to do without dropping things! ....replaced the horse bit ..twice so far !

Anyway we are getting there with the shabaraque being fully basecoated now ...thankfully it's not the full items with the leopard skin!

Also added a legion d'honneur to the pelisse ...with a little movement is not hanging straight

Going to be a big project so might start a simpler one alongside forca break ....but should look okay when it's done

Couple of refs I am using

    Happy benchtime

    Hi Henk

Not feeling brave for sure ...so it's the second !

Just the " few" spots left at the rear and then the actual head !

Might basecoat the rider for a break !

    Stay tuned

Thanks for posting ....I take it your commenting ref leopard spots full horse pics .....not my work ...it's by Ivo Preda .......I'm using it as a reference

Nearly finshed all the spots now ...just back of saddle covering and then head left

Looks very good.....challenging with much potential.....so what's your choice for motivation?.. pills, booze, or a severe ass woop'n in the nude. Just asking.:ROFLMAO:

    It has legs ..

My confusion is at an end.

However the main subject is still an Impressive piece of work.
