    Nice to see another version of this release certain,y a lots to paint

    The yellow has come out really well and all credit on the whites

    Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our JUNE FOTM comp and also vote in MAY's classes as well

    ....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 running till 31/01/22

    Always good to see the artwork

    Beautiful paint job, it certainly shows off the detail in the uniform. I'm beginning to see the advantage of the larger scale busts - and prefer the half-figure sculpts (with arms and full torso) to the head & shoulder type - over a full figure in 54mm or even 75mm. Though I am surprised to see this guy with a full cuirass (front and back), as the references tend to indicate that only the breastplate was worn?

    Thanks for your comemnt. You are right. That's a historical mistake by the sculptor...I have paint it as a full cuirass because the overcoat hide nearly the whole backside [exc me for my English...].

    I really like the yellow work on the cape, how it transitions in the shaded areas to a slight orange tint. Beautiful, brings out the depth really well, IMHO. Very vivid tones, outstanding work Ben!
