    Hi everyone

Thought I would post this V bench to get it going

This was a collaboration between myself and Jim Evans ( aka Jimbo ) before we moved away for the sake of his shopping bill due to the very large amount of cheese and ham sandwiches consumed on our Paint days

Basis was the MMM bust , I think Jim sculpted the horse head and other horsey stuff and did a lot of other putty pushing as well on it ...with many additions and changes from yours truley

This is how it looks at the moment ...it survived 2 house moves so this will be a long project for this year .....will ry and update when possible

He will have a pelise and a sword and sabretasche flying about with the movement

    BIG THANKS to Jimbo

Hope I can compliment his putty work

    Stay tuned

    Happy benchtime

Needs a bit of sanding in quite a few places before priming, I'd almost forgotten what this looked like as it's got to be 5 years since it I converted it, so I'm looking forward to seeing some paint on it though I must admit, I didn't sculpt the actual horse head as it was a Siskin miniatures head, the neck was cut and adjusted and all the bridal work was then added in magic sculpt,
    Cheers

A great conversion. Love the base especially the horse and rider are bursting from the base. Something I've always wanted to but never found proper base material, but most importantly lack the sculpting talent.

Great conversion, and as already said, the way it blends from the base is really nice.
Now I know Kev likes to be legless (sorry, i couldn't resist :D), but a levitating Hussar is a new one to me...

Great idea Nap and super execution so far in the conversion. Really like these bust/part horse combos and working the horse into the base is inspired. Look forward to seeing some colour on this.

    Hi everyone

Working on this along with the BSM Williams .....

Nothing spectacular to report except after much careful use of paper tape to mask off the wooden areas , the horse now looks like this ....
