End of a long-term project - after one and a half years:

Motor of my 11 BN 1954 (case model) completely dismantled, all moving parts and seals replaced, the rear with original parts dismantled to the state of 1953 (wheel model), new bumpers front and rear and an electric sunroof - and since the day before yesterday everything with the blessing of the German TÜV...:

Magnificent vehicle! Looks very well done. I occasionally help restore a 68 Cameron but we're in a "financial savings" period....lol. Nice work.

Not mine unfortunately - the guy on the right pointing owns it. I did get to drive it a couple of times. Strange coincidence though - I have just today (2 hours ago) sold my own 2010 Citroen with 144k on the odometer. Big hole in my soul as I had it from new. Gonna have to borrow the wife's Kia for a while until I decide what to replace it with.

Looks like an Austin 10 Doctor's Coupe. Circa 1938. Many about post war. Desirable collector's item nowadays. Nice photo Ray!

Thanks Bill! Nice pic - not yours is it? As a youngster I had my share of what were derisively called "old bangers" (and I mean cars in this instance) plus one ow two motorbikes of questionable vintage. Regrettably I don't have the space to keep one now otherwise I would love to get my hands dirty one more time. Even now it's a better investment than parking your savings in a Building Society.
