Lovely but a bit pricy for us Brits. Will save me pennies.

A very nice figure but at £50.00 PLUS post for a 75mm figure, it is a lot of money to ask when figures from equally top flight companies from elsewhere in the EU and Russia are asking around the £34-38 region for a 75mm figure.

I love Pegaso and have lots of their figures in all scales but I was surprised to see the price of this new release and I acknowledge the Brexit factor too.

Gary & Bob: Yes I agree, the price caused raised eyebrows here as well. That's a lot of coin for a 75.

I suspect that part of it is you're "paying for the name" in that maybe Pegaso still regard themselves as the "Rolls Royce" of the hobby, even though other companies (especially the Russians) are now setting the pace and the standard.

On a more positive note though, it's nice to see Pegaso still in the game and putting out the occasional quality release. They remain a big name in the hobby and have given us some great figures over the years.

Sorry about the bad language but prices like that push people into the hands of the re-casters, wise up keep your prices under control and the vast majority of modelers will remain loyal and support the sculptors and companies who work hard to give us the what we like at reasonable prices.

I am slowly starting to believe that there are more figures of members of the "Old Guard" than soldiers served there under Napoleon ...

This is a very very welcomed figure. Beautiful sculptured by Vitor Kornov. Its perfectly casted in two tempi. This is to my knowledge the first figure of of a chasseur of the guard in 75mm and only the second in both 54 and 75mm. The other being the 20+ year old Metal Modeles. It has for years and years always been Grenadiers of the guard totally negleting the other old guard regiments. I hope we in the future will see more soldiers of this regiments. Thanks Pegaso
