Felix, thank you for your informational support!
Scale 1: 20. If you put a samurai in full height, its height will be 75 mm at eye level.
I have already decided what the next project will be, and I will start it soon.
If any of you see any flaws, please let me know so that I can fix them before I start casting. I could already see that some of the knots on my cuirass had come off

I tried to make the figure look good. I sometimes think about making a bust, but I'm afraid to start yet.:)

    Hi!
The process of casting the samurai figure took longer than I expected. When creating the form, the master model was destroyed, and I had to do it again. But it was worth it, I like the result.I hope you enjoy it too

The wick (matchcord) looks OK for the period. Modern matchcord is about 9mm diameter but is made differently to the old original cord. I would say yours looks fine. It would have been made by hand whereas modern cord is made by machinery. Original cord was soaked in cow urine and dried, which helped it burn:eek:

Been following this from the start... VERY NICE!

Accurate and great to see the armour hanging properly.

BTW: just started watching Netflix's series on Oda Nobunaga/Toyotomi Hideyoshi (here). Some dodgy armour amongst the lower ranks but interesting to see Stephen Turnbull and others doing their stuff

Thanks! It was important for me to make the armor historically correct
