Next will be the remaining gold part of the turban , going to do a slightly different version of the stripes , something like Blue bands with white lines , gold sections between

more to follow after some reviews and setting up FOTM etc !!!

    Hi Folks

Update pic on the Soldier of the Raj ......

from this reworking the turban scarf at the rear , ranking him up and added the pointed moustache ends

WIP 005.jpg ....to this WIP 021.jpg

Flesh is all finished , it is more in keeping in reality ie Indian and I am happy ......have finished the main orange section but will revisit again once the green side is all done

I will be adding lines of a lighter orange onto the main orange .....you can see them just in one of the pics that is provided in the insert as here

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Next once turban all done it will be the moustache , lips etc then the medals and then the gold lacework

image.jpeg ..pic from insert ...will need to look at these fully

    Happy benchtime

    Hi Guys

Bit of a verbal update on the "Raj"

Turban all completed , pleased with it ...will try and get a iffyvision pic done

Next will be the moustache and hair ( not much showing ) then it's the medals etc ....

I have added the large medal ...couldn't resist ! ...it has 2 heads on it ...

    Stay tuned

    Happy benchtime

Love the colours on this but that detail on the tunic alone is madness never mind the medals

    Thanks Graham

The box art has dark green detail lines on turban ...,....I have gone for a lighter orange based on the fact that in my mad world I think a green line would show darker in the coloured pics of the colonel

As for the lacework ....hopefully I can pull it off ...should be able to ....fingers crossed !!

Stay tuned ...bring on those medals

    Happy benchtime

Both busts are excellent Kev, but the Bengal Lancer really caught my eye - fleshwork on his face is amazing!
