I don’t know about most of you, but I really like it when combat gets highly described. I know that it’s hard for every DM to do for every fight, having to juggle running the game and addressing the needs of anywhere from three to five people, but when they can go into what the armor the big bad is wearing, what the death knight’s name is and how they take glee in warring against my PC and friends, that’s so choice. What do you guys think?

Each to their own but I have never seen the attraction of gaming whether on a table or a computer.

Used to do tabletop war gaming back in the 70s but not anymore. Never did D&D but did play one game of Warhammer but lost interest after an hour. Do like some of their massively overpriced big figures though.

I play anything (favorite board games with friends) ... life itself is a game
