In parallel with FB I will post, hoping to have the time, not a criticism but more a series of photos allowing you to form an opinion on a figurine or a bust.
For information, I'm not a professional, let alone for the photo, I just share (so don't be too hard on me)!
I wouldn't allow myself any comment as to the accuracy, that is not the point either!
I would just take the liberty of jotting down some criteria.
I will try to post once or twice a week!
The second figurine chosen, is recent, and is third, in a limited series of 150 copies for the whole world of the brand initiated by Piersergio ALLEVI:
    "Il Volto del Commando"
I do not believe that it is necessary to present the producer, and also sculptor of this brand:
Piersergio ALLEVI, one of the great masters of our discipline.
It is not necessary either to present the painter, the accomplice of always, the talented (and it is an understatement) Danilo CARTACCI
It's strange, however, and I noticed it in one of my posts, but Italian artists all have first names in "O", Piersergio, Danilo, Ivo, Maurizio, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Rafaello ..... Strange!
    Okay, back to the figurine:
Conte Gaetano Battaglia, Colonnello Comandante Guardie d'onore 1812
    Scale: 54mm (queen scale)
    Materials: Metal (alloy)
Sculptor: PIERSERGIO ALLEVI (no longer presented)
    Box art painting: DANILO CARTACCI
    Rating criteria:
Packaging: 9.5 / 10, no complaints, simple, efficient. The figurine is well protected, A manual in color (and in Italian) with photos of the painted part. Packing a bit like Metal Models!
Choice of subject: 10/10 One of the most beautiful Napoleonic uniforms, the Guard of Honor of the Italian Royal Guard (Military House)
For more documentation on this Royal Guard see:
    http://www.histunif.com/.../italie2/corps/garde/garde00a.htm
Sculpture: 9.75 / 10, only happiness and a great sense of movement, and a detail worthy of a larger scale (Difficult to find fault with as to Piersergio's qualities as a sculptor) and it is not 3D ! In addition, two heads are supplied with the sublime helmet, or in "beret / police cap".
Molding: 9.75 / 10 almost perfection, a pity that my photos do not match the quality of the molding and the sculpture.
Quality / price ratio: 9.5 / 10, 25 €, there is only MM who practice the same prices, now you have to count 30 € for a metal figure in 54mm
To conclude, why not 10/10 for each criteria, I must keep a margin, but it is a figurine (like all those of this brand) which will serve as a reference for the 54mm metal. I could have opted for MM, but I have not yet had in hand the very last productions released by ATELIER MAKET. Know that there is a resin and metal jumper that will also serve as a reference for the resin!
I would particularly like to thank Piersergio from whom I bought this figurine (and all those of his brand) for his kindness, availability, his professionalism, a great gentleman of our passion.
I hope that his exhibition at the "Invalides" museum in Paris is still relevant, as soon as this damn virus has left us alone!
I finish (really) by advising you to go to the FB page of Piersergio Allevi:
    https://www.facebook.com/piersergio.allevi
Do not forget that of his accomplice Danilo Cartacci:

Do not hesitate to send me your observations, any criticism is constructive![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Great review Luc, it's a shame that this figure is no longer available: it was a limited edition and all are now sold. On a happier note, Persergio has just released 3 new figures, two on horseback (both Italian Napoleonic subjects) and one on foot (a French sailor from the Revolutionary period). These are up to his usual high standards and buying from him is always a pleasure.

Be careful, the first mounted figure is now out of production or in the way, the cost is not very expensive, so do not wait to buy one. The same for the last production :
    Tenente colonnello Paolo Castaldini
Cacciatori a piedi, Guardia del Presidente
    Repubblica Italiana
    Milano, 1804

The last figure, available for order (54mm resin & metal)

    “Il Volto del Comando”.
    Edizione limitata a 200 pezzi.
    Colonnello Carlo Balabio
    2° reggimento ussari
    Repubblica Italiana 1804

And from the serie "Weapons & winds" ltd edition of 150
    Marinaio francese
    equipaggio della nave “Sans Culotte”
    Golfo di Biscaglia, 1794.

    Great looking figures.
Have looked at the info above but a couple of questions------
What figures are available and where do you buy them? English and German understood.
    Thanks.
